Check out this card from one of my 1st graders! She brought it to me on Monday, and was a little bit upset that my birthday wasn't until Friday. I told her I was excited that it was my first birthday card of the whole year! She kept on reminding me all week too that she had given me the first birthday card of the whole year!
But isn't this the sweetest thing? I almost cried when she gave it to me.
It says, "Dear Ms. Slone happy BirthDay. I hope your Day is spishell (special! gotta love inventive spelling!) Yay BirthDay girl. Yay yay BirthDay Day.
